OUT OF THE ASHES ...
THE FLIGHT OF AN ALL NEW PHOENIX

Welcome to the Convergence, a place in time and space where the past, present, and future coexist at the edge of a temporal rift. It's here where the groundwork for a series of short stories takes root, expanding the reality of a parallel universe. Therefore, as a source of alternative stories, compiled around the foundation used to create the OF CRIMSON INDIGO Saga, Tale Blazer Storyworks is a forum for new voices, some cannon, some from the worlds beyond, others from the perspective of those former, or recent contributors to  an all new reality, parallel to our own. For now, please take the journey establishing the groundwork for the side of reality we call adventure. Please refer to the submission guidelines should you have a short story you feel will meet the criteria for inclusion in the sum of story works being prepared here for publication...

ESTABLISHING THE GROUND WORK FOR THE OTHER SIDE OF REALITY ADVENTURES.

CREATING THE BACKSTORY  ...

The original concept for Of Crimson Indigo: Points of Origin was to tell a ten part story that had no beginning or ending, only the sum of it's parts. It was to be an intricate look at the human condition, how reality shapes our perception of what is real and what is make believe. It was to be multi-generational, hence giving it the span of multiple lifetimes for the events of the saga to come to fruition and draw in logical conclusions to the end points of the story, but something changed mid-stream. A new element was born that altered the course of the project laying the groundwork for something unbelievably formidable in size and shape.

What if the story wasn't just multigenerational, but rather multiple individual lifetimes in stature. Future Course™ was born, and a single comic book was released exploring the aspects of a minor character in the story. But the demise of the company prevented any further development of the project and the first rendition of the property was scrapped until a second incarnation of Future Course took shape in the spring of new era.  Alien Landscapes and Marauders of the Black Sun hit the drawing board as perspective feature film projects altering the concept of the saga still again. This time the element of the possibility of being the first IMAX feature film was introduced with the probability of having ADI and ILM respectively considered as part of the production's Visual Effects providers .

On the morning of a proposed trip to ILM, for a visual effects meeting disaster once again struck the project, this time in face of a major earthquake in Southern California. A disaster that put the project on the back burner for nearly a decade. It seemed success for this property would never come. However, Future Course™ continued with a twist, and a resurrection that rekindled a new incarnation of the project that would breathe fresh life into the property, and in essence, an entirely new reality. So, with the seed of an idea as the foundation, the adventure once again crossed the threshold from one existence to another in a groundbreaking direction ... The Living Machine Chronicles™.

With a new twist, and a resurrection that rekindled a new incarnation of the project breathing fresh life into the property, and in essence, an entirely new reality as the foundation of an adventure that would take another turn, and once again cross the threshold in a ground breaking direction ... FUTURE COURSE: The Living Machine Chronicles™.

During the Britton Productions era, with the release of Brand Name Comics and Reoccurring Images imprints, Future Course™ Issue One hit the Direct Market through twenty-two distributors worldwide. This time, the idea was to look at the backstory through the eyes of two small living machine characters, which in later editions led to the creation of the Of Crimson Indigo Saga would introduce a race of TRODS™ (Tandem Remote Operations Directive Specialists)  who's sole purpose in life was to conduct a search for the creator of machine kind. Hence, the birth of the living machine™ concept took root, clearing the way for the concept of Living Light technology™ and the creation of a ground breaking aspect of the overall saga.

Alien Landscapes™ screenplay rewrites proceeded with several drafts, introducing a new wave of characters and the idea of symbiont/host relationships, whereby the idea of corporate runners, bounty hunter and assassin blended temporal agents could function as time traveling operatives for the five major corporate entities that  subjugated entire worlds under industry rule with an iron-fist grip on the known universe,.

As Alien Landscapes continued to develop, the idea of dimensional travel was introduced into the storyline, and the temporal wave corridor harbored the idea of multiple universe/multiple incarnation prospective introduced through the escapades of twin sisters, separated by both time and space as well as universes. Alien Landscapes also introduced the concept of the ITOL, a spacefaring militaristic entity of warriors that policed the temporal wave corridor travelers which lead to the creation of the public transit system for inter-dimensional travel, and the concept of a bloodhound used to remove unwarranted travelers from the transit system.

The backstory for the characters of Jake Ramious™ and Krydal Starr™ took shape, and the first inkling of Crimson and Indigo began to reveal itself. However, at this point, both characters had little connection or resemblance to the personification of the inevitable incarnation blending the characterization would produce, giving life to Crimson and Indigo.

Haulers Incorporated and the Eye of Armageddon introduced the Dragon Wing Hauler, which used an entirely new means of high-speed multi-phasic transit  throughout the galaxy, hence the company's slogan became "Throughout time, across the Universe..." The saga would eventually break the space-time boundary separating the layers of the universe and the temporal wave corridor connecting the multiverse. However, as Crimson Indigo continued to develop, the driving force behind Haulers Incorporated gave birth to yet another tangent... one that was destined to pave the way for the concept of the Crimson Indigo Saga to congeal into what will become the threshold of a multidimensional extravaganza. whose heart and soul blends lives, alternate realities, ancient civilizations and the very essence of human life into a simple storyline of boy meets girl, falls in love, and comes face to face with the creator of machine kind at the edge of the known universe; where mankind wages a temporal war across the threshold of one existence into another. It's a course that could cause the demise of two species of humanity ...
As the saga grew in scope, it simplified into a tangible story laying the groundwork for a love story between characters that possessed unique abilities due to the fusion of lifetimes, knowledge and an uncanny reality crossing ability that made the entire saga reach a singularity, whereby the concept of Crimson Indigo became the story of one person's adventures in parallel existences that translated into different life experiences. Of Crimson Indigo grew up in the mark of a heartbeat and the character of Olivia Sutton™ was born.

Olivia Sutton became with no uncertain force of nature the central character of the entire point of origin. She was Krydal Starr, Jake Ramious, Nilana Keri, Samuel Nomad, and a host of other characters all rolled into one. And, as Olivia Sutton took shape, she solidified the personification of a woman capable of driving the story forward, across a temporal abyss, multiple lifetimes, male and female incarnations, regardless of what the story called for... a hero.

At the same time she became her own worst nightmare, the personification of both good and evil, hero and villain, and with every turn, a new outcome could present itself. The driving force of the Crimson Indigo Saga became the possibility of a recurrence –– a memory, or
déjà vu. The actions in one universe played out in another, and fragments of one adventure affected another version of the lead character. She could be in two places or a hundred at the same time. So we narrowed it to three, the past, present and future. Otherwise, what came before would happen again, over and over. This allowed the character to review the sum of her actions in this and previous existences, as viewed upon as a means of deciding their fate in some future state of affairs or existences.

The new incarnation of our heroes and villains, allowed the project to pave the way for a new adventure and introduce the backstory's building blocks leading to the mysterious world of SODIN, but leaving California for the fringes of a new adventure, one door closing, another opening, set the next decade in revision mode, altering the project in both the scope of the saga and the overall direction of what was to come and The birth of a new corporate entity ...
The saga needed a new hook, something that could drive the story via the hero through a world where anything seemed possible. Suddenly, the scope of the project blossomed into a nine-headed monster, complete with intertwining tangents that spun off into different storylines like a never-ending monster of their own.

Samuel Nomad's New America and Of Crimson Indigo: Tales of the Master-builders

further developed the backstory, introducing the concept of a planet size machine housing the failed project of the five galactic corporations responsible for creating an area of space, which would become known as the
Triad Abyss™, the birthplace of the alternate reality connecting the threshold between universes, while exposing the past, present and future of both Crimson and Indigo's competing realities.

The concept of the Industries' Temporal Convergence Laboratory was introduced, and the aspects of a future with two pasts exploded into the encapsulation of the multiverse theory, with multiple outcomes for every decision the characters chose. What happened in one universe, didn't necessarily happen in the other and the concept of temporal distortion fields were introduced to explain the concept of age differences, blended characters and separate lifetime experiences: One universe devouring the other, within the confines of the interconnecting corridor thresholds between universes. As a result the concept of the failed experiment never being able to be shut down fit the bill for the threshold of temporal convergence. To this day, the course of the story has allowed for some sort of passage between the past, present and future within the connected universes. With the launch of Fausclan Entertainment, LLC the first novel venture into the saga of Crimson Indigo launched worldwide with Of Crimson Indigo: Points of Origin introducing the reader to the concept of  the UCP (Universe Creation Project) and SODIN, (Secure Off-world Divergence Interchange Nexus), and the proposed site of the Industries Time Step Core™ experimental facility.

Although limited by the aspects of small press, reviews showed the readership's acceptance of the tale with a compelling positive response.

The concept of SODIN added a level of game play to the overall structure of the saga, and the revolutionary aspects of SODIN and the Time Step Core added to experimentation, exploring the scientific basis of wave corridor propulsion technology, while introducing an entirely new means of high-speed transportation to propel our characters across time, throughout the galaxy. Our characters needed a mode of transit that allowed them to cross the space-time boundary separating the layers of the universe, and the fabric of  temporal waves connecting the multiverse, the creator of machine kind while providing the threshold of a gateway to an old enemy, a temporal war that spanned the threshold of one existence into another. All of which had at the potential to cause the demise of both species of an as yet, unknown branch of  humanity.

With the release Of Crimson Indigo: Points of Origin, Tales of the Master-builders, and Samuel Nomad's New America, the concept behind the SODIN Time Step Core™ expanded to envelop the idea of worlds being linked by the temporal gateway between the past, present and future, which allowed for the possibilities of adding the Industries manipulation of the timeline of a backwater planet at the heart of  an area of space know as the Border Region.

As the corporate entity developed in the adversarial body plaguing the worlds under Industry rule, the aspects of the TSC's temporal convergence continued to develop in size and scope until the idea blossomed from a space-based research laboratory to a laboratory hidden within the great machine lodged at the core of a planetary body. The powder keg  fuse was suddenly lit, and the reality of the planet-sized world machine became the basis for the interaction in the Of Crimson Indigo: Points of Origin novel, on which wave corridor propulsion technology was first introduced during the early outlines of the Crimson Indigo saga. Considering the importance of an ancient technology, lead to the creation of Haulers Incorporated™, Vex Redford™ and Rooka Trent™ it was important to introduce a young version of Jake Ramious in an alternate reality, before his blending with the Crimson assassin took place in a third spinoff storyline tangent.

The only aspect of the main characters missing was the time travel element. How to get from the future to the past, or from the past to the present, and in what universe? The human element complicated the matter as well. Human beings have a cap on the previous life experience, making the current lifetime a learning experience. In essence the world is a classroom, and the participants have no idea who they are, or who they were at some other point in time. And, to further complicate the matter, the factions of alternate existences, the soul, spirit, higher self –– multiple bodies on multiple planes of existence needed to be addressed.  One future replacing another, whether manmade or fabricated by some higher source, code or ultimate intelligence needed to be rectified. Our hero had to be a multidimensional being.  But how and why remained a mystery.

Meet Olivia Sutton™
As we continue into uncharted territory, and the saga undergoes a transformation, lets address the aspects creating a hero, who uses her faculties, skills and expertise to  master the journey, learn from her mistakes, and to rise above the challenges of an old world to face the tests of an all new one.

Olivia Sutton™, 28, Human Female, an Archeologist/Anthropologist with historical restoration experience, and a lust for life. It's important that she is proficient in ancient civilization restitution. But more important, the idea of lifecycles needed to be introduced, so we added another twist to the character's make up. We allowed for life reincarnation, or lifespan regression. In other words, she needs to retain the knowledge of multiple lifetimes, so we made her smart and experienced. She has a quick wit and is quite funny when the situation warrants it. Otherwise, she’s down to earth, levelheaded, and loves a good challenge; she’s very competitive. Sometimes she outthinks her companions, and as a result Olivia needs to be cantankerous when it comes to her crew, but figures they will grow out of his childhood pranks at some point in their adolescence. She’s just not sure when it will begin, so she considers James very cute, but childish. Most important, Olivia has good motherly instincts and usually can get along with either of her traveling companions, although she has affection for one, and is secretly in love with him. Race, however, doesn’t have a clue, or at least he doesn’t let on that he knows. Either way, Olivia is a flirt, a scientist, and she’s a good administrator. She’s lives life to the fullest and is on her last life regression, without a new lifecycle.

Olivia Sutton is our central character, and the audience identifier. Our story revolves around her: men, mission, actions and unfolding events. She’s the love interest, the object of ambition, lust, risk and rivalry. We figured, (me, myself and I) that Olivia should believe she’s the one in control, yet allows the guys to think otherwise. She's just assuming her natural place in the universe. To her, the world is a place to explore, to wonder about, to find beauty in, while she figures out what life is all about, where she's head and how she got here in the first place. On the other hand, she is sure of her place in the world, the universe – even during a new world survey. Above all the character of Olivia had to trusts herself, to be in touch with the cosmos; she knows the universe and her place in it. As far as she's concerned nothing happens by happenstance, but rather by limitless connections.

We wanted her to understand that she must maintaining balance, while exploring the physical, emotional and spiritual existence of the human condition even when in an extraterrestrial environment, where she is faced with the aspects of the unknown, incredible danger, panic, love, lust, rivalry and contact with alien life. An environment that spans the past, present and future complicates her existence. Emotionally, Olivia needs strength to overcome her fear of the unknown, for she is an ordinary person in an extraordinary circumstance. In a nutshell, she needs to take control in order to preserve her own self worth. Lives depend on her actions and reactions to her crew-mates.

There’s a conscious emotional longing, she's in love, and wants to love, to be able to return the affection and for Race to become the man she needs him to be. For this reason, she’s willing to risk it all to save him from himself. Above all else, we want her to be aware of the facts. She must complete the mission at any cost, even her own life. If she fails, mankind will have to pay a terrible cost for its blind ambition. Olivia knows deep down inside that she’s alive for a reason, and the fact that she has lived  for centuries is in no uncertain terms, a simple trick of the universe wanting her to survive.
She trusts the universe, God, and her companions. Her spiritual upbringing keeps her steadfast through every situation, regardless of the consequences. We wanted her to be a strong woman  so she needs to be the one who believes in herself, and knows that she can accomplish anything if she puts her mind to it. She also detests arrogance for arrogance sake, although she finds it helpful in situations where overconfidence just might keep her companions out of danger. In reality, she possesses superior intellect, which is the byproduct of many years of dealing with lifecycles and lifetimes. She's skeptical, but maintains an eagerness to find the reason doubt covers up truth. Nevertheless, Olivia is reasonable, reliable to a fault, never dishonest, lazy, or crazy, other than crazy in love. She’s funny, a workaholic, only compulsive when it comes to the man she’s loved through her many lifetimes. But above all, she’s a doer, she’s quite capable of just about anything, and men find her both daunting and beautiful, if not competitive.  There is little room for anxiety in Olivia’s life, nevertheless, fear of the unknown haunts her even stands between her and love and, although she has compassion for every living thing, she has little use for self-denial or overindulgence.

Olivia is on the last leg of a journey both personally and professionally. Her combined knowledge and the experience of her current incarnation gives her a great advantage over others when compared to the self-worth of those around her. Her experiences in recollection, give her access to a compendium of self-knowledge, all human events, thoughts, words, emotions, and intent across the expanse of her lives.

She was born, not manufactured. She’s a true spirit of humanity, a being of living light, soul retention and the elegance of creation. Not even Olivia knows the extent of the lives she’s lived or the previous existences she may have experienced prior to her present incarnation. But as a result of the temporal incursion Olivia is at odds with herself and needs to resolve the emotionally charged connection she shares before she loses control of her own body to her previous existence.

As the story evolved it became apparent that Olivia needed to reach the others, to convince them of her current situation, even warn them of the intruder within and the loss of control over her own life. Physically, it could mean her death; however, allowing such a meaningless death to make her understand the joining is only temporary. The co-inhabitant however is wrong.

The joining is more permanent than she realizes, and for Olivia it maybe the end of existence. Her memories are no longer her own. The past is now a blended reality, with no separation of past, present or future events that are recognizable. For all intents and purposes, she is no longer capable of existing without the other. Their very existence depends on the understanding of reality, the completion of the mission, and surviving the temporal incursion, and their own cohabitation.

Next let's cruise with Crimson and her host, Olivia who has no intention of running around naked, cohabiting with another consciousness in a contest of wills between blended souls that must learn to live together, or to trust one another, yet she understands each other’s needs. Olivia, on the other hand, wants no part of her cohabitant and only tolerates her symbiont more or less repulsed by her thoughts, especially those passionate needs she displays for root berries, iced drinks and subtle foam-topped beverages with a multitude of otherworldly ingredients, all of which, feed her need for diverse forms of sensual energy, which leaves Olivia panting with desire, of course.
Picture

Crimson's experience is colorful to say the least. She's lived through countless lifetimes, existed in alternate realities, explored the cosmos, traveled through time, and survived the fall of a multitude of civilizations only to find herself at the mercy of her hosts. It's important to explore Crimson's backstory, to familiarize those directly related to her with her means of survival and abilities: More important, the relationship with the bounty hunter Indigo. She has weaknesses, desires, hopes and an emotional connection to her former host that is timeless and abounds in her persona as if it was simply nothing more than a part of her. A memory that spanned lifetimes, and spawned a relationship made of pure love in simplest terms. Indigo was her perfect companion, a mirror image of her existence but from the source of an alternate reality. He was neither man or machine, but rather the essence of soul, enlightened and as frustrated as his counterpart.

Love is complicated, sometimes dismissed, or hidden beyond recognition to anyone except those involved in the moment. Being both male and female further complicates the existence, the memory of former existence adds a form of inner conflict that we can play on, explore and embrace as the series evolves. Artificial intelligences play a part in the driving force behind the existence of Crimson Indigo and the lives they've shared. Multiple existences requires a multitude of memories to interact with, so it was important to introduce our hero, Olivia in a world where both the future and past tend to derive the present. We wanted to explore where we've been and where we're going through Olivia's character.  Both  her  future  and  her past effect her  perception of the world, while her memories of cumulative lifetimes adds a sense of wonder and wisdom, which beyond anything else presents different aspects of both her personality and six sense.

Cohabitation isn't either Crimson or Olivia's first choice, but once blended the prospect of survival becomes stronger. It was important to blend the former lovers and relationships into a faction that both entities can access. Previous boyfriends of Olivia can cleverly interfere with Crimson's judgment just as her aspirations can have a direct effect on the human side of the equation, which allows us to explore the reality of the human condition. At first chaos ensues, but with cooperation and understanding the melding pot solidifies, and the resulting ratification can allow for us to change our characters personalities, traits, likes and dislikes, lovers, friendships and inner conflicts. Crimson and Indigo are destined to be reunited, however, there's always the resistance of the other which we will have to deal with both as a species and blending of humanity.

The Relationship of Crimson Indigo

We explore the relationship between symbiont and host, forever love and the lure of contact between former lovers, and the relations of both the young and old alike. Love is timeless, everlasting and found over and over, one encounter after another. Crimson Indigo's previous relationship is destined to rise in both host and symbiont, the question is will it be a conflict, embraced, or the cause for retaliation.

Remember the last time you entered a room and recognized someone you didn't know as someone you may have known before, or maybe loved before, or even hated before. It happens to people everyday, so why not carryon where you left off. I've done it, and I'm sure you have too. That's why we wanted Crimson and Indigo to have a previous entanglement, or perhaps more than one... Who's to say that the relationship between Crimson and Indigo was a love affair, or a downright adversarial confrontation. A battle between partners where one  actually killed the other, only to be regenerated and reborn in the case of Crimson Indigo. Even the relationship of Olivia and Crimson is important to consider ... the realities we all live in, the outcomes we pursue, imagine, and even hope or expect to achieve contribute to our relationship with one another and the universe.

What if love was governed by Karma, the akashic Record, or simply one's own actions both here and in another universe, dimension or even a past life experience.
That's why we capstone the phrase "It was a time when the universe was young, and the light was upon us all ... Remember." It's our doorway into the realities experienced by Crimson and Indigo.
Consider this... You meet someone, they're oddly familiar to you, as if you've known them all your life. You're carefree and comfortable with them. For all intents and purposes, you are instantly attracted to that person, but you have no idea why. You don't know them, or do you?  Yet, there is something about them; be it love at first sight or just because you've both been here before. First contact is far more complicated than a chance encounter, especially if it's preplanned as in the case of Crimson and Indigo.

Consider it kismet, or destiny, even fate ... life is a tapestry, a blanket of intertwined reunions, connections, even romances that never had the chance to finish, or flourish in a past life experience. In any event, we wanted Crimson and Indigo's involvement to draw to a meaningful conclusion.
Everyone finds love, or doesn't. It's the connection we long for as human beings. But what if the spirit was separated, driven apart, by the very humanity we search for. Is it simply the need for reunification, the hope of being reunited with that selfless other half that completes us?

A middle-aged woman hopes to find a young lover with stamina. Love is complex, and definitely complicated. Men and women are at odds with one another, because we think differently. So it is with Crimson and Indigo, Olivia and Race, or one of Crimson's previous hosts. Attraction is universal ... you either like the person or you don't. Sure personality and persona contribute to the emotional responses, but what if it goes deeper than that. Perhaps all the way to creation ... the force of nature and the need for love or companionship. No one wants to be alone on purpose, and we tend to seek out like minded responses.

In creating the essence of Crimson and Indigo we wanted to explore the prospects of how life is experienced, love and hate influence the characters, our inner relationships with them and even those hopes and desires we share as a viewing audience. So what constitutes the needs and knowledge of who they are and where they see themselves in the universe, even if our hero is in their own backyard there is a moment of self worth, pride and that feeling of satisfaction that propels us all.

Convergence is the story of reunification, falling in love all over again, and the willingness to sacrifice everything for that love. For love is eternal, we need it to be just that: Eternal. It's that part of the soul that continues, carries over from one lifetime to another, through one experience to the next, even through life, death and resurrection.

Of Crimson Indigo is more than a character study, it's a multifaceted look at the breath of humanity, and where the reality of existence may take the human machine, a living machine, whose origins may stem from the depths of the cosmos itself, if not an intelligence capable of manipulating both time and space altering the factions of what exists, ever existed, or just maybe. where the next generation may find itself ...
CONTEMPLATING
THE FUTURE'S PAST

IN A TIME WHEN THE UNIVERSE WAS YOUNG, AND THE LIGHT WAS UPON US ALL ...

Exploring the facets of the personality that binds Crimson and Indigo in a big universe we find ourselves stuck between two different pasts, where only one future will be triumphant, bendable and able to converge, the aspect of the future's past for Of Crimson Indigo became instrumental in both structure and content. We thought of a snow globe, and how one world is within another, or in the case of Crimson Indigo, a universe within a universe. Hence, It was a time when the universe was young...

In contemplation, we pondered, even mediated on the possibilities of it existing, a bubble cosmos, a microcosm of what came before, one future leading into another, given birth in the cradle of existence, each expanding; forging forth in the shape of a sphere hellbent for the expanse of infinity. Now, consider one future devouring the other to form a reimagined existence. Not in the essence of a Mandela Effect  but rather where a manufactured universe is renewed, allowed to triumphs in its own failures, each going hand-in-hand with a multitude of outcomes superseded only by the game of the expansion. Whole worlds regenerated in a new likeness, controlled and conceived by a power hungry entity with designs on every living thing in the physical and supernatural realities.
Be it artificial intelligence, or the essence of fractal patterns held within the depths of a microcosm formed at the mercy of the strings holding the universe together, or even the prospects of God's creation. The reality of Crimson and Indigo encapsulates the underlying quality of life, understanding, and belief in a system of values reflecting our own reality, but what if that reality was directly contributed to by alternate time lines, past and future incarnations. How would this influence affect our daily lives, our day-to-day existence?

We pondered these questions, considered answers to other questions we had yet to ask, and came away with a problematic experience our characters had to encounter, experience and try to overcome, while faced with unspeakable odds, incredible dangers, triumphs and failures, not to mention eternal love.

For Crimson and Indigo the memories, both conscious and subconscious surfaces at every turn, and not just in the memories of Crimson or Indigo, but in their respective hosts, counterparts and previous loves and lovers. Above all else of Crimson Indigo is about falling in love anew, even if that love is eternal. It's what drives our characters forward, governs their reactions.
Next, we'll dip into the concept of Trithen Industries, and the galaxy wide civilization it keeps an iron-fisted grip on, the employment of Crimson as an assassin and Indigo as her bounty hunter counterpart. We'll also discuss the upcoming Haulers Incorporated book and a few new things that are in the works.

Developing Haulers Incorporated and the Concept of Truckers in Space
The early days of the Crimson Indigo saga needed a mode of transportation that enabled our heroes to traverse the cosmos, throughout time, and across the universe. While the idea of truckers in space came from first hand experience and knowledge of being part of a trucker family. My father worked for a major US Carrier based on the eastern part of the United States. He often talked about life on the road, quick stops, the long haul, lonely nights and living away from home. Truckers in space was born of his expertise and foreknowledge of the kind of man it was to be a truck driver. Haulers Incorporated became the homage to those who travel the roads endlessly to bring goods, merchandise, cargo, and a host of other freight shipments and payloads to destinations that span the world.
The Early Adventures of Vex Redford™ and Rooka Trent™ came to life in a time before the Industries mega-conglomerate ruled the galaxy, before Crimson Indigo coursed the temporal corridors as Nomads on Corporate business. Haulers Incorporated opened a new frontier, giving birth to a small freight company destined to play a major part in the history of the cosmos. Which allowed for the implementation of story elements that would later effect the heroes journey through out the saga...

With the introduction of Vex Redford and his mechanic/navigator, Rooka Trent, the idea of the long haul cross country driver team solidified as counterparts, a couple of traveling companions in search of action and adventure, a few extra bucks, and jobs for hire where they could find them. The only problem with the science of truckers in space was dealing with time dilation, did the transports travel faster than light, use some sort of traditional warp drive like in other science fiction series, or did we need our own mode of transit that could fill the bill and allow for travel among the stars. Wormholes were a possibility, the expectation of generating the power needed to achieve transit through an open wormhole system had also been effectively been mobilized in stargate travel, so connecting points in space time seemed a reasonable alternative to current modes of transportation, and so the Temporal Wave Corridor was born.

TWC transit gave our characters and their machines the ability to traverse great distance by utilizing the probability of an expanding universe and temporal coordinates to input space time destinations in multiple dimensions as well as the possibility of traversing the boundary between the bubble universe and its host cosmos, our own Milky Way Galaxy.

The prospect of Vex Redford and his mechanic, Rooka Trent actually being able to traverse the border worlds in search of revenue, love, and adventure became plausible. And as the probability of crossing vast spaces with the use of coordinates became a mathematical probability the essence of     a daring, heroic thrill-ride filled with uncertainty, explosive danger, and unpredictable peril presented itself. The tractor trailer took the shape of a cargo vessel compartmentalized to maximize the freight capabilities available to our Haulers Incorporated vehicles––the Dragon Wing Hauler became the primary source of transit utilizing the Temporal Wave Corridor as a transit system.

As the possibilities developed in the prospect of a spin off series to the Crimson Indigo Saga, the idea of an episodic adventure seemed to be the perfect role of HAULERS INCORPORATED and as the saga continued to develop, the introduction of Jake Ramious to the cast of characters fit right in, completing the jumping off point for a direct connection to the Of Crimson Indigo book series. Hence book one, Haulers Incorporated and the Eye of Armageddon took its roots in the heart of the Milky Way Galaxy, with connections along the stellar highway linking the border worlds to the inner civilizations. Our star travelers became the small crew of the Haulers Incorporated Dragon Wing Transport.

With the prospects and underlying storyline established, all that remained was the backstory to the property. Vex Redford and his crew needed a home base of operation, some place not too conspicuous but secure enough the base could be left on manned for lengthy periods of time, enough time in fact for  transit to and from the local star systems.

The long haul was quite a different problem all together. Long distance transport would need access to the Temporal Wave Corridor Transit System, and access to such high technological advancements would have to have a place in the backstory. More important the technology had to be a part of the introductory elements of the pilot episode being used as the basis of the episodic book series, yet, he couldn't overwrite the concept of any possibility of being developed into a television series. However, this project was put on the back burner so to speak with the release of prospective entertainment for the small screen with the introduction of another series with cowboy truckers, in the guise of a western in space.

As the pilot went through revisions, Haulers Incorporated added a new element to the mix and the crew of the Dragon Wing suddenly had to find themselves in the midst of a corporate negotiation that could spell certain death for all the parties involved unless the cargo aboard the flyer could be used in the negotiation at an off-world mining colony. Armageddon took point, and the pilot, Haulers Incorporated and the Eye of Armageddon emerged as the perfect introduction to the worlds of Vex Redford and his crew.

Introducing the ITOL Warriors of ISAF Command ...

Let's take a look under the hood of Hauler's Incorporated and visit the military aspect of the ITOL (Integrated Tactical Offensive Line Warriors), the creation of Krydal Starr, the development of the Shadowrider novels, and the temporal displacement device known as the Eye of Armageddon. It's a big, bad universe out there, and it's gonna get crowded.

First up the logo for Haulers Incorporated, the traditional HI seemed appropriate when the Crimson Indigo saga adopted the haulers as a part of the overreaching back story to the platform of Convergence. The idea of travel throughout the galaxy and across time fit into the premise of the story arc we wanted to generate over the course of the novels which help to fill in a part of the backstory to both Haulers Incorporated and Crimson Krydal Starr's adventures.

Although the early adventures of Vex Redford™ and Rooka Trent™ establishes the universe, at a time before the Industries mega-conglomerate ruled the galaxy, it was important to create an atmosphere of change, reflecting the growing power the Industries has over the galaxy-wide civilizations under its influence. Haulers helps open that new frontier, the birth of  an incongruent inconspicuous small freight company having the future of the universe in the palm of its hands, or rather the hands of Vex, Rooka and Jake, and the reality of how they will interact with the daunting superpowers, which will eventually be forced to hunt them rigorously, while playing into the ideology that a few can make a difference, even if serendipity plays a part, destiny can always use a little push to get it going, especially when it's to play a part in the history of the cosmos.

In HAULERS INCORPORATED and the World on the Edge of Forever: The second book in the series will add a degree of depth to Vex's backstory when the crew of the Dragon Wing touches down in the wilderness community of Haven's Bluff, a border world colony said to lay at the gates of a world on the edge of forever, Vex Redford and his crew refuel, take on passengers, only to find themselves in the midst of an unusual exchange, where their lives may not be the only thing they have to sacrifice in order to find a way out of Vex's past endeavors with the one person who can shed light on his past, his connections to the border worlds, and a former agreement which establishes the fact that he either traveled back in time, or discovered the true meaning of the world on the edge of forever, the fabled home of the Master-builders.

Meanwhile, in HAULERS INCORPORATED and the Streams of Time, we add a new dimension to our heroes story, when the crew of the Dragon Wing decides on the name of the hauler when they run the border of the Triad Abyss, and the crew of the newly named Tigress has to risk crossing the temporal boundaries between universes in order to deliver the cargo to a world on the other side of a temporal convergence. It's here that  another level of the story grew from its intended comic book roots, and the backstory to the human wars depicted in the first novel of the Shadowrider Series. The first book, Shadowrider: The Last of the Magnificent Machines, introduces us to the traps, and perils hidden in the depths of the Triad Abyss, revealing the concept of a time jumping military unit which will become the regiments of the ITOL. With the upcoming release of the second book in the series, Shadowrider: The Human Wars, the link between the bubble universe and the parent cosmos becomes the first layer of the ancient war that took place against an entity's insatiable need for living light energy, leaving only the dark matter of reality in its wake.

Hence, the tag line: It was a time when the universe was young, and the light was upon us all at the beginning of the Of Crimson Indigo book series. The adage: REMEMBER was added to complete the reflection of memories we all keep buried deep in our DNA. Ancestral memory, the Akashic records, the experiences of multiple lifetimes, all of which plays a part in the backstory of Convergence. With the introduction of Shadowrider: The Last of the Magnificent Machines - The Human Wars solidified an alternate future to our Earth, establishing the use of temporal combat as an established means of defending against the ancient enemy. But when it came down to establishing Humanity's long forgotten battle against the Skellon, reptilian race, the vision of Thunder Runners™, raised the idea of FOUNDATION™, an organization which crosses paths with both Shadowrider: The Human Wars and Haulers Incorporated and the Shadowriders of Kern.

Finally, the Crew of the Tigress, would be forced to make an emerging landing on the planet Kern, a world on the edge of the border worlds, where the gallant crew of the Tigress finds themselves aided by a race of living, breathing machines who remember the crew from another reality. The establishment of the multiverse becomes evident, the world on the edge of forever, the myth of the Master-builders, a race of living machines known as the Kalamar is revealed and begins the transformation of the Of Crimson Indigo saga into the ground breaking foundation on which the backstory of CONVERGENCE is established.

Thunder Runners Concept ArtIn conclusion, the backstory to Of Crimson Indigo: Convergence takes it final step in HAULERS INCORPORATED and the River of Life. It's here that Vex Redford and his gallant crew find themselves powerless at the edge of the abyss with only hours of energy reserves to sustain them. However, one discovery still awaits them as they cross paths with themselves, faced with a journey beyond Vex's comprehension; it's a journey of incredible undertaking that will take humanity across the threshold of a world where the past, present and future coexist.

ORIGINS OF A TEMPORAL LOVE STORY
The Characterization of Cosmic Springs Continued
We explore the idea of past life recognition, the reality of eternal love, soul recognition and the properties of Living Light present within the overall story arc spanning the romance of Crimson and Indigo.
As the story of Crimson Indigo developed, the romance between both the hosts and the symbionts had to have real world feelings for one another, not just between the symbionts but the hosts themselves. The concept of a former existence adding to the experience of previous romance, love, intimacies, jealousy, even anguish, depression or obsession needed to be considered for each character, their interactions with one another, and all those encounters, friends, loved ones, and family interactions, relationship irritations, dislikes and chance meetings with former adversaries added a level of concern to the deliberation on the compassion, charity and benevolence our heroes would face.
Love between partners of varying ages depended upon the needs of the story, as well as developing relationships within the context of attraction, recognition of both soul and former relationships also had to be considered when it came to all interaction within the circles of the characters. Crossovers, and prearranged rendezvous also had to be added into the mix. If one of our heroes encountered a former spirit they had experiences with the story had unique aspects that needed to be developed in the overall relationship. If Crimson's experience with a former incarnation for instance is reencountered in a temporal blending, then the original encounter would have some influences over the traveler, host and those counterparts sentient within the nomad. For example, if Indigo encountered a former soul or living light spirit reincarnated as a woman, he would have an immediate response to her, regardless of her age, unless it was detrimental to both of them. Its possible that indigo's emotional connection would simply reengage with the life force of the previous experience, once again be reunited on some level of intimacy, whether friendship, love or some variation of the relationship that previously existed.

There are feelings involved in all categories of relationship from parent to child, grandparent to son or daughter, even neighbors have a relationship, as do enemies, and those individuals who may face incarceration or death. The evidence of love as an eternal affection between individual entities must be looked and evaluated as experience, and the prospect of love being the essence of life that continues on after death is that place in humanity's soul that is reunited with the overall substance that may well be the nexus of a sum of the whole. In other words, each experience contributes to the being as a whole. That which is learned, offered in love and light, may be something that simply continues to exist, blending with the overall being as an entity, regardless of what is left behind. What experiences the current incarnation takes with it in death, are stored and applied to the needs of the next incarnation, however, the new individual living light soul is limited as to its place in the cosmos in order for the individual to gain knowledge, therefore allowing itself the time to adapt to changing situations, experiences and interactions with the reality in which it resides. Hence, the host grows through the trepidation's of childhood, through adolescence and adult hood, while the nomad maintains its relationship with its own overall existence in both time sand space, regardless of its dimensional vibration.
MAN AND LIVING MACHINE™ – THE CONCEPT OF VIBRATIONAL TRAVEL

As we explore the foundation between man and living machine, humanity's soul matrix and the essence of multidimensional beings. Understanding the principles of vibrational travel and the conditioning of subjugation, regeneration and rebirth as a means of soul retention, all throughout reaching, the overall manifestation of one's own existence, and the laws of attraction that generate an individual's presence and place in the cosmos.

The individual, the soul and the evidence of what will become the essence of Crimson Indigo stretches back in time to a new life, new beginning. What came before will occur again. It's only natural, therefore it was important to take into consideration the reality in which our characters will find themselves. In what experiences they will exist, and in what existences they will encounter one another. It is possible that as they story develops that our lead characters will encounter each other repeatedly, only in different dimensions and different walks of life ... it's possible for our heroes to find one another, to take a different course through life and return to one another in such a way that they pass in the night, although some attraction may eventually take place in a situation where  the soul is reunited, it may find that it has no choice but to complete its current entanglement in order for the unfinished previous incarnations commitment.

For instance, it's important to look at the aspects of vibration, and how it connects one soul to another, to see the overall reaching out of the lines of attraction that connect the over body or facets of a link to the humanity matrix connected to the planet in all forms of life. A planet, like the universe is a living thing. Machine, human, animal, plant, fish, etc., all are connected in a circle we call life. In the case of Crimson Indigo, we see this connection as being more vibrational than physical. Planes of existence. It's important to understand the concept of space time in order to reach the necessary frequencies to acquire the needed aspects of the story. They are different then a person who grows up in one dimension, only to find themselves in a higher frequency at death, or during a period in their lives where they are subject to say terror, fear, love or injury.

In the case of Crimson Indigo, our characters reside in both the physical and non physical form. Both spiritual and energy, this allowed us to explore the idea of living light as a source born of life. It is connected to the universe, God and the multitude of dimensions our characters must function in. The world is a bigger place than we first see, it's more than our little corner of heaven or hell, depending upon where their vibrational frequencies lie.

For the state of understanding we must preclude any obvious inclination toward the lower vibrations. Lovers are at a heightened state, the attraction rules their immediate vibrational intensity, so it was important for us to consider the idea of physical and spiritual love when dealing with the love story of Crimson and indigo as well as Crimson Indigo the blended characters. Those are separate but important considerations. For all intents and purposes it is a single entity driven apart into halves, as is said this is my other half. We as humans tend to look upon one another as a union, whereby we draw to us another individual with which we feel attraction, love, even hate.

In all aspects of creation we are more than individual, but rather the some of our parts. Everything intertwines. One is not an individual, but rather a part of the whole. When to like souls meet the intensity is attraction or love at first sight. Especially, if the cycle of life and death, rebirth and reunion follow the pattern one has presented as part of their existence with intent to reunite with particular members of the whole. This grouping is commonality, and allows for repeated connections which allows our characters to interact with one another in both the spiritual realm as well as the physical.

The aspects of attraction, vibration and soul retention allows our characters to move in and out of previous lives, which is an extension of one's self. Previous incarnations are mere points of physical form governed by the aspects and relationship of the individual to their initial environment. It is possible for our heroes to manifest themselves for a brief period of cohabitation which allows for the completion of one mission by extending the next.
